This years Funkhana and Steak Roast started with a Rally. Doug and Laurie Scribner along with George Haynes organized the route, questions and clues. Laurie photographed the participants and managed to process the film and pictures before the cars completed the course! Everyone had a picture before the damage was done.

Doug, can I play Wonder Woman again? Laurie trying to revive an old style.

Smile, not you, the car! Smile please!

When do we eat? Drivers meeting....any questions? Yes, ... when do we eat?

Believe it or not, this is a clue.

A Rose by any other name....

All our ducks in a row. Where's reverse on this Midget?

Some contestants.

Finally the Bent Camshaft Award to the loosers of the Rally event.

Now for the food. Once again our chefs came through! Our club also has some very fine "gourmet contributors".

Let's eat.

Now on to the Funkhana. Gil and Betty organized this years Funkhana. Several small timed events are totalled to determine a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. place. The first event measures consistant air pressure in all four tires. The closer the pressure the higher the score. Secondly, carry the cup of water and back into the "garage" with out spilling it. Thirdly the navagator must make one revalution of the car using the seat with wheels. Next drive the ball into the box. After this, the navagator must roll the spare tire between the pilons. Finally the long arm is used to knock over the MG men. Looks easy.

Betty and Gil Now Betty, we're good friends right? If I let all the air out, I'll win this event, right? Ahh...Japanese MG. If you go a mile that way then left.... and now reverse, nothing to it! A woman's work is never done. Joe, don't worry about that little scratch now... 12 mins and 35 secs, not bad Joe. Yes you can ride the broom if you want. Its for Mother-in-law and country! I wonder if I can smack Leon by going over the top? and we can even set them back up. Yes! This is organized! Multiply both sides by zero and it comes out fine. Its like watching paint dry...

Hand made.

Geroge and the "ringer" number one!

And the winners are...George and the young ringer!

Great job done by the staff!!!

To our under paid but willing staff, we thank you!
